Librarians from George Mason University, Virginia Tech, and Washington & Lee will help explain open publishing operations at George Mason University Press, VT Publishing, and Lever Press. This panel discussion will focus on questions about open textbooks and open monographs such as the selection and review process for open scholarship and editorial support given to researchers. Panelists will discuss the mission and scope of each publisher and give attendees the information they need to consider when choosing an open publisher.
